The
Girls Softball team beat Gladstone last night 11 – 1 in the semi-final.
They will play in the final on Tuesday.

The Tiger’s baseball
team defeated Carberry 15 – 2 in the semi-final of the Zone 7
Playoffs. The Tigers will now play Gladstone in the Zone 7 Final.

There
will be a very important Grad meeting at 12:20 in the library on Friday.

Congratulations to
the Gr. 8 Band on a wonderful Band trip. Festival was well played
and they were a lot of fun to be with for 2 days in Moose Jaw!

Congratulations to
Tieler Fenning Cox for winning the MHSAA Outstanding Male Hockey Player
of the Year Award. The award was presented by the Winnipeg Jets
Alumni at a banquet held on Monday.

Siloam Mission
permission forms must be turned in to Mrs. Young by Thursday.

Class of 2012: Get your yearbook write-up forms from the office and
hand in completed forms by Thursday, May 24th. Thank you!

Any Gr. 11 & 12’s who
want to be event runners at Half Day, please sign up in pairs at the
office. The sign up sheet will be down by Tuesday May 22nd
at lunchtime.

Any students interested
in the Jr. Golf Clinic please stop by the office for registration
forms.

There will
be a Yearbook meeting on Thursday after school in the Jr. High
Computer lab.

Gr. 10’s, please bring
your ball gloves to gym class.

Any students in Gr. 7
– 9 who want to tryout for team Westman Track and Field for the Manitoba
Summer Games please remember to register! You can get registration
forms from Mr. Koscielny in room 16.

Congratulations to
the Tigers track athletes that competed in the Selkirk Track Meet.
We had a few students place in the top 5 in their events and we had lots
of athletes meet provincial standard! It was a great team effort
yesterday!! A reminder to all athletes that you just tell Mr.
Koscielny which events you are doing in the Zone meet.

DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM
How to enrol
You can sign
up for Driver Education
courses in two easy
steps:

Go to
your nearest Autopac agent with your parent/guardian to get
set-up as a Manitoba Public Insurance customer, register, and
pay for your course.
Identification requirements
You need to
establish your identity to register for Driver Education.
Remember to bring your identity documents when you go to
register at any Autopac agent. For more information and to view
a list of documents you can use to prove your identity, please
visit our website at
www.mpi.mb.ca,
select Driver
Education and then
click on
Enrolling.
The $50 cost of
Driver Education includes 34 hours of classroom instruction,
eight hours of driving, and eight hours of in-car observation.
You must be at least 15 ½ years of age to qualify for a
learner’s permit under this program.

Convenience
and flexibility
You can register
and pay for your Driver Education course in one visit to any

*Depending on
your school and school division, you may be able to take Driver
Education at another school. However, restrictions may apply as
individual schools set
their own rules about who may
register for classes.
